Lil Miss Kori Layne

I'd like to introduce to soon-to-be newest addition to the Baggett Bunch, Kori Layne Baggett. Yesterday was my 4D ultrasound at Peek A Baby and I have attached some of our pictures from it below. The poor thing has got herself in quite a pickle. She is currently positioned with her feet and hands "stuck" in front of her face. I say stuck because the ultrasound tech explained to us that it take a few days to work legs up and down in the womb; arms are a little easier to move around. But regardless, she had every appendage on her little body in our way yesterday while trying to get some good face shots of her. Here she is...

Her face (most of it), one arm and two legs :)

Her face again, pointed in a downward position slightly and one perfectly pointed foot!

Two more shots which are very similar but she's turned her head a little away from the camera in the second shot.

Happy Father's Day!!!

Happy Father's Day Daddy!!!
Love, Cooper & Mommy
I hope all the wonderfuls Dad's had a great day today!!

This was the "meltdown" resulting from the battery on his tractor dying.

Cooper's 1st Zoo Trip

Well, I'll be honest. As much as Cooper loves animals I wasn't sure how he would do at the zoo. He is only two after all and that is a lot to take in for such a little person. Would he be ready to go in 30 minutes? Would he lose interest? Would he be scared when the huge animals were there in person at eye level with him? No, no and no are the answers to those questions. However, he was NOT impressed with the 20 minutes it took us to find a parking spot! So he went in with a little bit of a grudge toward the zoo - he is not a big fan of delayed gratification. But once we finally got in he was back to Cooper again! I even got a picture of him right at the entrance (once we made it through the crowd) with a huge smile. He had a great time. I think he will enjoy it even more on his second trip because now he will know what it means when we say we are going to the zoo. Plus he can request which exhibits we go to and which ones we skip! I have a feeling he will ask that we skip the orangutan ... lol ... when that monkey got a little closer than Cooper preferred he said "bye bye monkey" and turned to my mom and I and said "go find Cooper a new monkey" and held on for his life. So he was a tad afraid of that ugly little [huge] fellah!

The pretty smile I was referring to at the entrance!

Although photographically not a good picture, I just love the sillouette of him against the pretty fish tank! He loved the "shishies" (fishies) too!

Coop and me at the elephant exhibit (he wanted to ride one!)

"Bye Bye Monkey!" Otherwise known as the orangutan - of which he was NOT a fan!

Cooper loves to pet animals. Here he is enjoying the goats.

He got to pet a guinnea pig too. The zoo volunteer commented on how wonderful and gentle he was with the animal, he was very impressed! :)

We have a secret! We have a secret!

Well... sort of! As some of you may know we took a sneak peak at the gender of the baby at my appointment on Tuesday. I was only 16 weeks at my appointment but we took a peak anyway and sure enough the first glimpse we got was exactly the one we needed! It only lasted a few seconds so the ultrasound tech decided that wasn't long enough to be sure, but still we got a glimpse. We've told some people but decided to actually not tell our parents until it is made official! We will find out officially on Tuesday, 4/21. Those of you that we did tell, we appreciate your discretion for the next two weeks.

Until then... we wait!

Check up is Tomorrow

Tomorrow afternoon I have another doctor's appointment. This one is just my monthly check. I am 16 weeks and I'm sure that I will not get to find out the gender of the baby, but if anyone offers, I'm willing to look! Everyone that I know that is expecting knows what they are having - so naturally, I'm jealous! :)

In addition, I am anxiously awaiting another set of wonderful pictures from Sarah of my handsome little boy. It will still be a few weeks before I get the whole cd I think, but she's sending me a few preview pictures soon! AND - Karen is sending me some of her favorites from their session end of February!

Ok I'm not gonna lie, it's good tv night, so I'm out!

Look Who's Back!

So after what feels like a month of trying password and email combinations I have broken through the google mail forcefield and regained control over my blog!!! Whew - what a challenge!

Now I'll be trying to teach myself how the h**l to download all the cute stuff and be able to change up the back ground or make my blog more me. Black isn't bad, I love, black, but I could do so much more.... apparently!

Since it's been more than 2 years since I've posted, I'll stop here and just make sure I remembered this part correctly! ;)

Natalie's Shower Details

The food; deli sandwiches, veggie tray with ranch dip, fruit salad, raspberry cheddar cheese dip and sourdough bread bowl.

The Chocolate Fountain

The chocolate fountain, sweet stuff to drag through the chocolate and the favors.

The shower was a hit!

Natalie, after we cleaned up everything, I talked her into a side picture to see her 27-wk belly!

Natalie's shower went off without a hitch! Well, ok, we forget a few minor details but fixed them in time so you would have never known had I not admitted it! Here are a few pictures of the turnout...enjoy. Oh! And please notice the chocolate fountain - it was a HUGE HIT!!!
